Inspired by the "Too Much Television" cups I created these platters to respond to my idea of being brainwashed and staring deep into the television. Somewhere within my subconscious state while gazing inward into the static snow of the screen I can't help but to hear theme songs from Ren & Stimpy, Growing Pains and The Andy Griffith Show. The vintage mood music and jazz beats alluring you in from "Dog Pound Hop", lyrics of "As Long As We've Got Each Other" transfixing your mental state and then finally fully entranced and haunted by a faint whistling tune that of The Andy Griffith Show.
