Statement:
Paragraph 316 317 of
The 2002-2003 Oak Ridge Military Academy
Cadet & Parent Handbook States:
Oak Ridge Military Academy is a uniformed school where discipline is judged in part by the manner in which cadets wear their uniform. Therefore, a neat and well groomed appearance by cadets is essential to an effective military academy. It is the commanders responsibility to ensure that cadets within their command present a neat and orderly appearance. It is the duty of all cadets to take pride in their appearance.
At Oak Ridge Military Academy, room cleanliness is referred to in two manners, Inspection Ready and Daily Clean:
Inspection Ready: A formal inspection that is conducted prior to sign-out. Cadets must pass this inspection in order to leave.
Daily Clean: Rooms must be cleaned before classes each morning. During all room inspections, a cadets uniform and military terminology are subject to inspection.
