Jason Bige Burnett graduated from Western Kentucky University with a BFA in ceramics and BAs in both printmaking and graphic design. Burnett continued his education and studies as a core fellowship student at Penland School of Crafts (NC), and as an Artist-In-Residence at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts (TN). Since then he has exhibited nationally, been featured in
Ceramics Monthly,
American Craft Magazine, and regional magazines
Carolina Home + Garden and
WNC Magazine. Jason's work is featured in
500 Prints on Clay (Lark Books) and he's the author of
Graphic Clay: Ceramic Surfaces and Printed Image Transfer Techniques (Lark Books, 2015). Burnett currently lives and works from his home studio in Louisville, Kentucky.
