Workshops
Interested in a workshop or demonstration?

I have taught weekend and week-long workshops at numerous facilities and craft schools including an 8 week long class co-taught with potter Justin Rothshank at Penland School of Crafts in 2014.

The photos on the left document a weekend workshop at Baltimore Clayworks in 2012 called Slip, Slide and Stick: Image Transfer On Clay. In this workshop, students learned about beginning screen-printing and what is needed to set up and begin printing their own images. Stencil development using methods involving Photoshop, contact paper and Speedball's Drawing Fluid and Screen Filler were demonstrated. Students discovered the process of slip and newsprint transfer application and various decoration demos with hands- on participation. Decal applications were introduced and students left with a whole arsenal of new information and inspiration for their studio.

If you would like to inquire about workshops please send me an email for costs and additional information.
